Vanilla Greek Yogurt with Berries and Granola or Raisin-Bran Crunch Cereal
1 cup of Vanilla Greek Yogurt
Fresh blueberries ( washed and strained)
Strawberries (washed, strained, leaves cut off and cut into quarters)
Your favorite granola or Raisin-Bran Crunch Cereal
* Add as many blueberries, strawberries and topping as you like!
Get 1 cup of Vanilla Greek Yogurt. I love Chobani but any brand you like will do the trick and I have found some great buys at your local grocer. Wash and strain the blueberries and put to the side. Wash and strain the strawberries. Cut off the green leaves and cut them into quarters. Sprinkle a heaping amount or sprinkle just a few over the yogurt ( make it to your liking). Pour granola over berries or Raisin-Bran Crunch cereal which also works great with this and yummy! You've got a wonderful treat!
This is a great way to get in a good amount of protein and probiotics in the morning on your way out. It's also a great way to enjoy on a lazy Saturday for breakfast while sitting on your porch reading the morning news breaks or while you check in on all your social media post and updates from all your friends. It's also great to eat for an afternoon snack or for an evening dessert if you're a night owl. Greek yogurt tends to have a higher amount of protein per serving than you will find in regular yogurt. Some brands have an upwards of 12 grams of protein per serving. Although it does have a slightly different taste and this is due to it being classified as a sour milk cheese. You can change the flavors of the yogurt, fruit or topping to add even more flavor explosion to your tastebuds!
If you remove the granola and add some Almond or Oat milk with ice; you can throw this in the blender in morning for a quick Smoothie as well! The granola can be put in a small-to-go cup or baggie to snack on while you drive.
Bon Appetite!
